Part 2 of: Notation of a musical piece in two parts (revisiting LP2008 Project)

from Sound Studies by Julio Lugon

/

about

MATERIAL

For the second part of the piece we will use three conventional instruments of a standard contemporary musical band: guitar, bass and drum kit.

GUITAR!6 persons. 1 guitar string each.

BASS!4 persons. 1 bass string each.

DRUM KIT!4 persons. 1 drum part each.

ARRANGEMENT For this second part, we use the Fibonacci progression (0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8...)
to determine not only the notes played on each instrument, but also the cadence of those sounds to be performed.

The three sound sources will act in parallel and have three different notations.

Those will be mixed together for orchestration purposes.
